YMCA Camp Widjiwagan Celebrates 95 Years... and More!

For nearly a century, Camp Widjiwagan has been a leader of wilderness adventures, outdoor education, and character development. As we mark our 95th year, we reflect on the countless lives touched, the enduring memories made, and the profound impact we've had on young people.

Our mission remains steadfast: to develop respect in young people through immersive wilderness adventures and outdoor education. For generations Widjiwagan campers and staff have developed a deep connection to our camp on the shores of Burntside Lake, as well as travel to some of the most beautiful outdoor spaces in North America. Every Widjiwagan experience is journey of self-discovery, teamwork, and personal growth.

95th Reunion September 13-15, 2024

Join us September 13-15 at Camp Widjiwagan to connect with alumni, take a paddle around Burntside Lake, congratulate Joe Smith on his retirement, and share another camp meal with us in Kirby Dining Hall.  Celebrate 95 years of excellence, as we honor our past and embrace the future of Camp Widjiwagan – where adventure meets education, and respect is cultivated in the great outdoors.
